Mini-Cam Shortlisted for International Trade Award

Mini-Cam has been shortlisted for an accolade in Insider’s North West International Trade Awards. The firm is a finalist in the international company of the year category for businesses with turnover of up to £15m. The awards will be presented at a dinner at The Lowry Hotel, Salford, on Thursday, December 1

Mini-Cam has seen overseas sales surge in 2016 to 48 per cent of overall turnover, up from 41 per cent in 2015. The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is backed by private equity firm LDC, has seen strong growth in the United States, the Middle East, Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Ireland. A deal to become the main supplier to German distributor Ehle-HD has fuelled expansion in continental Europe. Recently Mini-Cam began exporting to China and signed distribution deals for Central and South America.

The company now has a presence in 40 countries through a network of dealers, who are managed by international sales and marketing manager Sven Breitenfeld.
