Mini-Cam Makes its Mark at Ro-Ka-Tech

Mini-Cam will launch a host of products at this week’s Ro-Ka-Tech exhibition as the company’s focus on innovative technology moves up a gear. Visitors to Mini-Cam’s stand at the event in Kassel, Germany, will see an array of new devices designed to improve productivity and quality in pipeline and sewer inspections.

The three-day international trade fair will feature the premiere of Mini-Cam’s CRP140 Crawler, and test drives will be offered. The crawler, modelled on Mini-Cam’s best-selling CRP150, has a compact, nickel-plated brass body and sports a motorised elevator. It also includes Mini-Cam’s renowned collection of connections, locks and devices. This new crawler has a flexible rear connector, soft black rubber wheels to improve traction in pipes, a quick-change wheel lock, an auxiliary light with a rear-view camera to aid reversing, and an inclination sensor.

Mini-Cam will also unveil a Bluetooth-enabled cable reel remote control. This can be used to operate paying-out, rewinding and crawler movement with Mini-Cam’s 300m and 200m motorised cable reels.

The company will also showcase:

Crawler Camera Extender, which moves the camera position forward by 100mm, taking it beyond the crawler to provide a view of the invert of the pipe.

Brick Egg Stabiliser, which improves crawler stability. It can be fitted to the Proteus CRP300 crawler to prevent it from rolling over during inspections in pipes with an egg-shaped profile;

Camera Elevation Platform, which is a telescopic accessory that attaches to the Proteus CRP300 Crawler and can be moved up or down manually to increase inspection capabilities in pipes up to 2000mm.

Upgraded version of the ProPIPE reporting software system designed by Mini-Cam’s in-house team. It enables users to generate reports in a PDF format and is more informative, visual and reader-friendly.

Managing director Nigel Wilson and international sales and marketing manager Sven Breitenfeld will be at the stand to tell visitors all about the new products.

Nigel said: “We are excited to be participating at Ro-Ka-Tech and to be unveiling our latest technology. “Once again our team of expert designers has come up trumps to develop leading-edge products to help our customers to improve efficiency and reduce their costs.

“We’ll be in Hall 2, Booth E02 in the Innovation Centre and we look forward to welcoming new and existing contacts to our stand.
